vivo X200 Series Unveiled: Global Debut of BlueMap x Sony Customized Sensor, Pushing Imaging Capabilities to New Heights
The vivo X200 series will officially launch on October 14th at 7:00 PM at the Water Cube. Today, the company further revealed the imaging specifications of the series and announced the global premiere of the BlueMap x Sony LYT-818 custom sensor. This sensor utilizes a 22nm advanced process, delivering lower power consumption and more powerful algorithms. vivo claims that its photography capabilities can rival a one-inch sensor, while its video recording prowess surpasses even that.
The LYT-818 sensor boasts a 1/1.28-inch large sensor size and features high conversion gain, enabling low-noise imaging in low-light conditions. This significantly enhances clarity and purity in nighttime photography. Additionally, it supports a dynamic range of 86dB per frame, employing intelligent fusion of multiple gains to handle complex lighting environments, resulting in more vivid and realistic images. Notably, the sensor breaks through power consumption limitations, ensuring that HDR effects in preview images remain constantly active. Furthermore, the LYT-818 boasts a 0.95e-signal-to-noise ratio and real-time HDR preview.
Beyond its exceptional imaging prowess, the vivo X200 series will also be the first to launch globally with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, marking the first Android chipset manufactured using TSMC's 3nm process. The Dimensity 9400 scores over 3 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks, making it the most powerful chip in the Android camp.
The vivo X200 series will feature three models: the X200 standard edition, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini. It is anticipated that this series will bring groundbreaking upgrades in imaging, performance, and design. Let's wait and see what it has in store.
