Previously, Lu Weibing had revealed some details about the Xiaomi 15 series, mentioning that it will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, stating that "the new Snapdragon platform is a turning point for the chip industry." He also mentioned that the upcoming flagship platform from Xiaomi will undergo a powerful upgrade, adopting a new desktop-grade micro-architecture, achieving "three super characteristics": ultra-high clock speeds, super-strong performance, and ultra-low power consumption.

Lu Weibing emphasized that each aspect represents a disruptive upgrade, aligning with standards jointly defined three years ago based on current test data. Through three years of deep joint research and development, coupled with comprehensive system kernel optimization, the Xiaomi 15 series will deliver the most significant performance experience leap in history.

Aside from its powerful performance, the Xiaomi 15 series has also been upgraded in terms of screen and imaging. The standard model will feature a 1.5K straight screen, while the Pro version boasts a 2K full-depth curved screen. For cameras, a rear Leica triple-camera setup is included, with the Pro version featuring a periscope telephoto lens. Battery capacity will exceed 6000mAh.
