Huawei's HarmonyOS NEXT public beta program launched on October 8th, with 8 devices including the Huawei Pura70 eligible to taste the new system through the Pollen Beta program. However, not all users are eager to experience the new system. For users who wish to unsubscribe from upgrade push notifications, Huawei has updated the HarmonyOS NEXT system Pollen/public beta version unsubscribe method on its official website, allowing users to delete the system installation package and cancel push notifications.

Delete the New System Installation Package

Users who want to cancel the new system push notification can delete the system installation package by following these steps:

1. Go to your phone settings.

2. Click "Apps & Services."

3. Select "App management."

4. Go to "Software Update."

5. Click "Storage."

6. Click " Delete Data" and "Clear Cache."

After completing these steps, you will no longer receive push notifications for the HarmonyOS NEXT version.

Unsubscribe from the Program

Besides deleting the installation package, users can also unsubscribe from the program through the "My Huawei App" to completely block HarmonyOS NEXT version push notifications. The detailed steps are as follows:

1. Open the "My Huawei App."

2. Click "Upgrade Preview" or "(Multi-device Preview) Upgrade Preview" on the homepage.

3. Check the historically registered devices.

4. Click the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom right of the page.

5. In the pop-up confirmation box, click "Cancel anyway."

After completing these steps, the registration status will show "Unsubscribing." Unsubscribing will take effect in 3 working days, and your registration status will show "Unsubscribed" after it takes effect. You will no longer receive push notifications for the HarmonyOS NEXT version.
