Today, Li Jie, CEO of OnePlus China, announced that the highly anticipated OnePlus 13 smartphone will officially launch on October 31st. This phone, dubbed by the company as a "fully-equipped flagship," will bring multiple technological breakthroughs and new experiences, including the second-generation Oriental Screen and the new Hasselblad camera system.

Alongside the announcement, Li Jie also revealed images of the three color options for the OnePlus 13: "Black Obsidian", "Blue Moment", and "White Dew Dawn". "Black Obsidian" features a first-of-its-kind black ebony wood grain glass design, offering a realistic wood-grain texture; "Blue Moment" debuts the BabySkin soft-touch leather, providing a delicate touch; and "White Dew Dawn" offers a pure white color scheme for a more transparent look.

In terms of design details, the OnePlus 13 adopts a straight-edged frame design, with the most significant change being the removal of the hinge design from the large circular camera module on the rear. Additionally, a dividing line has been added to the right side of the camera module, with the Hasselblad logo positioned above the line. The overall design exudes a premium feel and boasts high recognizability.

One of the highlights of the OnePlus 13 is its first-ever second-generation Oriental Screen, which also debuts support for Solar Display technology, delivering breakthroughs in display quality, visibility under strong light, eye protection capabilities, and smooth touch responsiveness. Beyond eye protection, the second-generation Oriental Screen also supports self-developed adaptive high refresh rates, the latest 8TLTPO screen circuit technology, enabling multi-scene and multi-level screen refresh rates. Furthermore, the OnePlus 13 will integrate a self-developed screen chip, P2, enhancing brightness, color uniformity, and reducing ghosting.

In terms of hardware configuration, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, offering a 24GB+1TB variant. This processor employs a 2+6 core architecture, with two ultra-large cores clocking at 4.32GHz. Compared to the previous-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it delivers a 35% increase in single-core performance and a 30% increase in multi-core performance. Moreover, the new processor introduces a new GPU frame interpolation technology, enabling hyper-resolution hyper-frame concurrency for games; it features a new Hexagon AI processor, significantly enhancing on-device AI inference capabilities, for more comprehensive experiences in areas like voice assistants and photography enhancement; and it boasts the Snapdragon X805G modem and RF system, achieving a 10-fold improvement over traditional 5G, delivering significant enhancements in aspects like network speed and latency.

Additionally, the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a 6000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging; a 16MP front-facing camera; a 50MP main camera using the LYT808 sensor at the rear, accompanied by a periscope telephoto lens; the 0916T motor; IP68/69 dust and water resistance; and ultrasonic fingerprint recognition.

On the interactive front, the OnePlus 13 will come pre-loaded with the ColorOS 15 system, featuring the Aurora Engine, which adds a dedicated notification center and control center. The system-level AI "Super Xiaobai Assistant" is newly introduced, supporting multiple interaction methods like one-click screen query, one-click to ask, one circle to search, picture question answering, document question answering, and more. Additionally, the new OPPO Documents app is launched.

Li Jie stated that in practical usage, one-click screen query has a high frequency of use, allowing users to execute commands via voice instructions or simply test its intelligence levels.
