At today's Huawei All-Scenario New Product Launch, Richard Yu made a significant announcement: after five years of development, HarmonyOS has become the most vibrant digital foundation. Currently, HarmonyOS holds the top 2 position in terms of market share in China, boasting over 110 million lines of code, a brand recognition of 91%, and 6.75 million registered developers.

This achievement is not accidental. Back in June, data from research firm Counterpoint Research revealed that in the first quarter of 2024, Huawei's HarmonyOS surpassed Apple's iOS in the Chinese market. This signifies HarmonyOS becoming the second largest operating system in China. This is the first time HarmonyOS has surpassed iOS in China and the first time iOS has experienced a decline in market share in China during the first quarter since Q1 2019.

Previously, the Mate60 series, MateX5 series, and MatePadPro 13.2-inch series had already launched the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta program.
