The statement begins by explaining the science behind lens flare, then acknowledges that the Vivo X200 Pro is indeed more susceptible to flare compared to other devices, and the flare is more pronounced. The official statement attributes this to two factors: firstly, the large aperture design, while beneficial for increased light intake, is also prone to triggering lens flare. This is an area they need to improve. Secondly, the issue is related to their coating technology strategy, which also needs optimization.

As for why this wasn't detected during pre-production or internal testing, Vivo explains that based on past experience, lens flare is a common occurrence in optical photography, with a very low triggering probability and minimal impact on normal photography. Generally, they don't conduct specific testing for lens flare. This mindset led to the insufficient control of lens flare on the Vivo X200 Pro. Vivo acknowledges their shortcomings and expresses their sincere apologies.

Regarding solutions, they promise a future OTA update to optimize the image processing, partially addressing user concerns.
