The circular lens matrix design seems to have dissatisfied many, but it's not that people have a prejudice against the circular shape, it's simply that they don't like the excessively protruding lens area.

The newly released OPPO Find X8 Pro, which was launched this week, once again uses a circular lens area, marking the third generation of OPPO's phones to do so. However, the device didn't feel like a repetitive design because OPPO has significantly reduced the protrusion, transforming the "Oreo" into a "thin and crispy wafer." The unique internal structure extends the optical path to meet the physical space required for zooming, but crucially, it significantly reduces the thickness of the module.
