Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Partner, President, Head of Mobile Phone Department, and Xiaomi Brand General Manager, revealed today that the standard version of the Xiaomi 15 will house a 5400mAh battery, a 790mAh increase compared to the previous generation Xiaomi 14, with almost no change in battery size.
According to earlier reports from IT Home, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 6100mAh Jinshajiang battery and a 5X periscope telephoto lens, supporting 10X lossless zoom. Additionally, the Pro model will come with a low-power 2K screen, employing a full equal-depth four-micro-curve design. The Xiaomi 15 Pro also supports the Xiaomi Star Communication system and utilizes a refined ceramic DECO design for its rear camera.
Beyond battery and camera enhancements, the Xiaomi 15 series brings breakthroughs in exterior design. The series is reported to embrace a top-notch holeless design, integrating the ambient light sensor, laser autofocus, and infrared emitter in the upper right corner of the camera.
