Wang Teng believes that the price increase is mainly due to three factors: Firstly, this year's flagship processors generally adopt the latest 3nm process, which significantly increases manufacturing costs. Secondly, the cost of multiple components, including memory, has also risen sharply. The higher the memory capacity, the greater the increase, so some models with high memory configurations will see a larger price increase. Finally, Wang Teng stated that all manufacturers are striving to improve product specifications, and upgrades in areas like imaging and screens have also led to continuous cost increases.

Industry analysts point out that the Xiaomi 15 will undergo significant upgrades in both software and hardware, and its price is expected to start at 4599 yuan. As a reference, the Xiaomi 14 8GB+256GB model costs 3999 yuan, the 12GB+256GB model costs 4299 yuan, the 16GB+512GB model costs 4599 yuan, and the 16GB+1TB model costs 4999 yuan. There are reports that the Xiaomi 15 will eliminate the 8GB+256GB entry-level version, and the starting configuration will be directly 12GB+256GB, with an estimated price increase of around 300 yuan.
