Recently, Zhang Guoquan, the director of Xiaomi's mobile phone system software department, responded to a netizen's question about whether the "13 series can use the full-blooded 2.0" by saying: "Some special effects can't keep up, hardware, especially AI capabilities, have improved too much in the past two years, so we will try our best to implement them on other models." According to Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi Group, Surge OS 2 brings three technological innovations: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAl, aiming to deliver a new experience for users in terms of basic experience, cross-device intelligence, and AI.

Among these, the HyperCore system kernel is one of the highlights of this update. It has meticulously classified and optimized over 25,000 usage scenarios, overcoming difficulties one by one, covering a total of 305 specialized projects and achieving 52 industry-leading technological breakthroughs. The application of HyperCore has led to significant performance improvements. Taking the Xiaomi 15 as an example, with the support of HyperCore and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, performance has improved by over 45%, while peak power consumption has been reduced by over 52%.
