Red Magic officially announced that the Red Magic 10 Pro series gaming phones will be released on November 13th. As the latest flagship of the Red Magic brand, the Red Magic 10 Pro series will be the first to feature a truly hole-less "Wukong Display," and will also be the first in the industry to feature "composite liquid metal" cooling black technology. It will also be equipped with a newly upgraded "Windmill" high-speed centrifugal fan and a new generation of ICEX magic cold cooling system.
The Red Magic 10 Pro series' "Wukong Display" is one of its biggest highlights. This 6.85-inch screen boasts a 95.3% high screen-to-body ratio, 1.25mm screen bezels, 0.7mm narrowest frame wall thickness, and is further equipped with a 1.5K ultra-clear resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-high peak brightness of 2000nit, and AI-powered under-screen camera technology. The main screen and FDC hole pixels of the Red Magic 10 Pro series are physically identical to the main screen, ensuring uniform picture quality and delivering a complete straight-screen experience with no punch holes, no notch design, and narrower screen bezels, further enhancing the user's immersive gaming experience.
In addition to the "Wukong Display," the Red Magic 10 Pro series also features a brand-new "composite liquid metal" cooling black technology. Red Magic officials stated that this material has much higher thermal conductivity than thermal gel and is often used in high-end gaming laptops. Its working principle is that it will rapidly absorb heat when heated, transforming from a solid to a liquid state, and then returning to a solid state after cooling. However, traditional liquid metal is prone to leakage and can corrode the chassis. The Red Magic 10 Pro's liquid metal adopts an innovative sandwich structure: the upper and lower layers use low-temperature alloys, and the middle layer is indium-based. When the chassis temperature rises, the low-temperature alloy will melt slightly and adhere to the indium base, ensuring thermal conductivity while remaining immobile, guaranteeing safety. This patented material and structural design solve the packaging process difficulties of traditional liquid metal and is an industry first.
To further enhance cooling performance, the Red Magic 10 Pro series also features a newly upgraded "Windmill" high-speed centrifugal fan with a rotation speed of 23,000 RPM, upgraded high and low blade design, increased sweeping area, and 10% increase in wind speed. Additionally, the Red Magic 10 Pro series is equipped with a new generation of ICEX magic cold cooling system, featuring a 10-layer magic cold cooling system that directly reduces the core temperature of the entire device by 21C. The system includes a 12,000mm 3D ice-step VC, 30% improvement in thermal conductivity; 5,200mm super-conductive copper foil coverage, 60% increase in thickness; and 30% increase in thickness of the under-screen high-conductivity graphene, reducing core temperature by 2C.
Apart from the cooling system and screen, the Red Magic 10 Pro series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and equipped with a Red Magic self-developed gaming chip, dubbed the "Greek God of Performance." Previously, the Red Magic 10 Pro series was also seen on the Geekbench database, with a single-core score of 3,167 and a multi-core score of 10,081, demonstrating its powerful performance capabilities.
In conclusion, with its "Wukong Display," composite liquid metal cooling black technology, newly upgraded cooling system, and powerful hardware configuration, the Red Magic 10 Pro series is undoubtedly poised to become the frontrunner in the future gaming phone market. On November 13th, let us await the surprises that the Red Magic 10 Pro series will bring.
