[Mobile China News] At present, China is the most important place for Apple to produce products. Most of Apple's mobile phones, tablets and computers are produced in Chinese Mainland. However, Apple is also trying to change this situation by transferring more production capacity to places such as Vietnam and India. Previously, it was reported that local Indian companies would participate in the first batch of supply of the iPhone 15 series, but only for the standard version of the iPhone 15, while higher priced Plus, Pro, and ProMax models would still be produced by Chinese factories. Recently, mobile China has noticed that this news seems to be inconsistent with the actual situation.
According to reports from overseas media, Tata Group, a local Indian company, has received orders for the next generation iPhone 15 and 15Plus models, which will debut later this year. This indicates that this Indian company will directly participate in the initial supply of iPhone15 and 15Plus.
Fortunately, relevant research companies have stated that this Indian conglomerate will receive a small portion of the production of iPhone15 and 15Plus. About 5%. Foxconn and Lexus will be responsible for producing 70% and 25% of the standard version of iPhone 15, respectively, while Lexus and Changshuo will be responsible for 60% and 35% of the iPhone 15 Plus version, respectively. In addition, the Pro and ProMax versions of iPhone 15 are mainly produced by Foxconn (approximately 70%), and the remaining parts will be handed over to Changshuo.
It is worth noting that according to Apple's past operations, it is normal for new suppliers to obtain a relatively small production share. If everything goes smoothly, Tata Group's share may gradually increase, and even produce higher positioning iPhone models.
