He pointed out that Li Xun Precision has achieved the NPI of the highest tier iPhone 16 model (ProMax) in 2024. This is the first time that Hon Hai has not achieved the highest end iPhone assembly NPI, and the profits of the iPhone business of Li Xun Precision will show significant growth starting from 2H23.
Guo Mingxuan pointed out that after November 2022, Apple shifted some of its pre orders for the iPhone 14 ProMax to Li Xun Precision in order to diversify risks. Due to Li Xun Precision's better than expected improvement schedule for the maximum production yield of the iPhone 14 Pro, it has achieved the 2024 iPhone 16 ProMax assembly NPI, which means that Apple recognizes Li Xun Precision's research and production capacity as a frontline supplier level. This ability improvement is also beneficial for the profit improvement of Li Xun Precision's iPhone business.
He predicts that the assembly NPI of the iPhone 16 series in 2024 will include Li Xun Precision, Hon Hai, and Asus, and expects Li Xun Precision's iPhone shipping unit price to further increase before 2024. In addition, as Lexus Precision will also benefit from the purchase order for the top module of the iPhone from Asus, the vertical integration advantage of Lexus Precision will continue to expand and have profits.
