After using Hongmeng for half a year, I switched back to iOS again: don't complain, talk about my heart that I've been holding back a lot

For so many years, I have been using Huawei phones and upgraded the Hongmeng operating system six months ago. Unfortunately, due to the sanctions and prohibitions, Huawei 5G phones are basically in a state of suspension. Can't I always keep an old phone?

So later on, I acquired Apple's iPhone 13 Pro, which gave me a brand new user experience. Will the iOS system be more user-friendly compared to the Hongmeng system? Which operating system is better? Today, I will talk about my inner thoughts!

Advantages and disadvantages of iOS system: The software ecosystem is truly invincible! The update speed of new features is slow.

I have heard from a long time ago that many people insist on using Apple phones because they cannot bear to part with the iOS system. After experiencing it firsthand, I found that the iOS system does have many commendable advantages. It has very high smoothness, unique UI design style, and elastic animation effects.

More importantly, the iOS system has a complete closed-loop software ecosystem, with a massive amount of app resources and many exclusive apps. Some software can only be found in the iOS app store and will not appear on Android or Harmony systems.

The closed-loop software ecosystem has brought higher security, and the iOS system has very strict control and permission management for apps. Moreover, these software have been officially reviewed by Apple, which can effectively protect my personal privacy and data security.

Due to its support for unified information push, iOS systems do not excessively consume memory capacity. Although the running memory of iPhone 13 Pro is only 6GB, and multiple applications are opened at the same time, the system still does not get stuck, and the running memory remains relatively abundant.

But then again, the iOS system also has its own issues. The global total sales of each generation of iPhone can reach tens of millions, which means that Apple will be too cautious in designing products and will not rashly adopt various novel features and black technologies.

The iOS system pursues stability, although there are no bugs, it is somewhat too conservative. Many new and interesting small features often appear on Android or Hongmeng phones first, and it is not until this technology is fully mature that it is accepted by the iOS system.

The advantages and disadvantages of the Hongmeng system: The Internet of Things is very practical, but unfortunately it is still in its early stages.

After discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the iOS system, I will now talk about my own views on the Hongmeng system. In terms of operating experience, the Hongmeng system is significantly superior to Huawei's previous EMUI system. The UI design style has undergone a drastic change, and a card style layout has been adopted. Many nonlinear animations have been added, greatly improving the usability and aesthetics of the operating system.

Not only that, the Hongmeng system can also be compatible with all Android software, and it also adopts a distributed design with the characteristics of interconnected everything. With the help of the Hongmeng system, digital devices such as Huawei phones, tablets, smartwatches, and smart screens can all be interconnected. Even some new energy vehicle engines have adopted the Hongmeng system. If the era of the Internet of Things can come early, then the vitality of the Hongmeng system will undoubtedly be even stronger!

In my personal opinion, there are two main drawbacks to the Hongmeng system. One is that the software ecosystem is not perfect enough, and there are very few apps that are deeply compatible with the Hongmeng system. Most software is directly ported from the Android app store.

Secondly, the installed capacity of this system is relatively low. Currently, Huawei 5G phones are basically in a state of shutdown, which means that the future development space of the Hongmeng system has been severely compressed. It is precisely for this reason that third-party software developers are unwilling to specifically develop apps for the Hongmeng system, nor are they willing to allow their own apps to deeply adapt to it.

Which system is better to use? Rational choice is iOS, emotional choice is Hongmeng!

After repeated comparisons, which operating system is better to use? For me personally, if I think from a rational perspective, the answer is undoubtedly Apple's iOS system. Because the iOS system is more mature and will keep up with the times.

Its unique software ecosystem has a strong allure, and the overall operating experience is quite comfortable. The iOS system is undoubtedly one of the core selling points of the iPhone!

But from an emotional perspective, my heart actually supports Hongmeng more. After all, Hongmeng is a system developed by Huawei and an extremely rare self-developed operating system.

Although it is not yet mature and has been heavily suppressed by the external environment, its existence provides consumers with more possibilities and purchasing options. That's why I personally hold high hopes for the Hongmeng system.

In summary:

I personally love Apple's iOS system very much, and there is a reason why this operating system has been highly praised and has been enduring in the mobile phone industry for a long time. Although the Hongmeng system is also excellent, it still lacks a touch of enthusiasm to some extent.

Especially in terms of software ecology, it is indeed not a competitor to the iOS system! I don't know if everyone agrees with this viewpoint?
