Today, the benchmark score of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 engineering model on Geekbench has emerged, sparking widespread attention. According to the benchmark website, the new flagship chip achieved a single-core score of 2884 and a multi-core score of 8840. Compared to the Apple A17 Pro, the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 is comparable in single-core performance but significantly ahead in multi-core performance.

Data shows that the single-core score of the A17 Pro is around 2900, while the multi-core score is around 7300. This means that the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 outperforms the A17 Pro by over 1500 points in multi-core performance, suggesting a significant improvement in its multi-threaded task processing capabilities.

It is understood that the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 adopts a new 2+6 architecture design, with two ultra-large performance cores running at a clock speed of up to 4.09GHz and the remaining six cores running at 2.78GHz.
