Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A06 smartphone yesterday (August 16th), featuring a 6.7-inch 90Hz refresh rate screen and the new KeyIsland design. While the changes compared to the previous Galaxy A05 are not significant, the visual impact of the KeyIsland design is worth noting.
The KeyIsland design refers to a protruding section on the right side of the phone, housing the volume buttons and fingerprint sensor. This design echoes recent releases in other phones, but Samsung's integration into the Galaxy A06 showcases a unique aesthetic.
Beyond design adjustments, the Galaxy A06 continues the overall framework of the A05 in terms of hardware configuration. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip, with storage options of 64GB and 128GB, and memory options of 4GB and 6GB. The camera system still features a 50-megapixel main sensor and an auxiliary sensor.
The Galaxy A06 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. In terms of price, the 4GB+64GB version is priced at 3,190,000 Vietnamese Dong, roughly 912 Chinese yuan; while the 6GB+128GB version is priced at 3,790,000 Vietnamese Dong, roughly 1083.6 Chinese yuan.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A06 is an entry-level phone that continues the strengths of the Galaxy A05. The KeyIsland design and 90Hz refresh rate screen provide users with a better experience. At the same time, the phone maintains the consistent cost-effectiveness of the A series, making the Galaxy A06 a good choice for users with limited budgets seeking a good experience.
