Technology media outlet BusinessInsider recently published a report revealing Google's internal organizational structure following its restructuring, listing the senior leaders of the new departments. In April, Google initiated a restructuring, merging its hardware, Android, and Chrome browser teams under the leadership of Senior Vice President Rick Osterloh.

Google hopes this reorganization will strengthen its hardware-software integration, enhance the competitiveness of its Pixel phone series, and better compete with Apple's iPhone.

According to the disclosed internal organizational chart, Osterloh now manages nearly 25,000 full-time employees, with 11 direct reports overseeing phones, tablets, Android, augmented reality, and Chrome browsers. After the restructuring, Osterloh's team has gained significant influence.

Among them, Sameer Samat now heads the entire Android ecosystem, managing close to 12,500 employees. The Chrome browser remains under the leadership of Vice President Parisa Tabriz, who now reports directly to Osterloh.

Shakil Barkat, as Vice President of Devices and Services, has also taken on more responsibilities, managing the second largest employee group after Samat.
