Dutch technology media outlet GalaxyClub recently published a blog post sharing camera specifications for the Samsung W25 (China)/Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim (Korea) foldable phone. According to sources, the Samsung W25, codenamed Q6A and model number SM-F958N, will likely adopt the same camera setup as the standard Galaxy Z Fold6. The front-facing camera on the outer screen will be 10 megapixels, while the ultrawide camera will be 12 megapixels.

However, the Samsung W25 will feature an upgraded under-display camera. Since the Galaxy Z Fold3, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, Fold4, Fold5, and Fold6 have all utilized a 4-megapixel under-display camera. The Samsung W25 will upgrade to a 5-megapixel camera.

Besides the camera upgrade, the Samsung W25 has also been optimized for its thickness. Sources indicate that the Samsung W25 will be approximately 10 millimeters thick when folded, about 2 millimeters thinner than the regular Galaxy Z Fold6.

In terms of the screen, the Samsung W25 features a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner screen. In comparison, the regular Galaxy Z Fold6 has a 6.3-inch inner screen and a 7.6-inch outer screen.

Currently, Samsung is testing the W25's system firmware, which will be based on Android 14. This implies that the Samsung W25 will be released before the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. Sources have learned through channels that Samsung will launch this new device in late September.
