Samsung is about to launch its new foldable phone, the W25, which is expected to debut by the end of September. This phone, codenamed Q6A, will feature upgrades in its under-display front camera and body thickness.
In terms of cameras, the W25 will sport a 5MP under-display camera, an improvement over the 4MP camera found on the Galaxy Z Fold series. Furthermore, the W25's outer screen front camera and ultra-wide camera are expected to be 10MP and 12MP respectively, providing users with a clearer shooting experience.
Design-wise, the W25 will be approximately 10mm thick when folded, about 2mm thinner than the standard Galaxy Z Fold6. This thinner body design will offer users a more portable experience.
In terms of screens, the W25's outer screen is 6.5 inches, while the inner screen is 8 inches. Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6's 6.3-inch outer screen and 7.6-inch inner screen, the W25 boasts a larger screen size, providing users with a more spacious visual experience.
System-wise, the W25 will run on an Android 14-based system firmware, meaning it will be available to consumers before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
