Xiaomi's Redmi brand is set to launch a new entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 14C, in Vietnam on August 31st. This phone will also be sold in the domestic market under model number 2409BRN2CC. The Redmi 14C boasts a brand-new design, especially its large circular camera module on the back, which sets it apart from previous models. This Oreo-shaped camera module on the back houses two camera sensors and an LED flash, with the main sensor offering 50MP. On the right side of the phone are the volume and power buttons.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi 14C features a 6.88-inch FullHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, providing users with a smoother visual experience. While the chin (bottom bezel) is relatively wide, the overall screen size remains substantial. The phone also packs a 5160mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage. The Redmi 14C comes in two storage variants: 4GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB, catering to different user storage needs.

The Redmi 14C utilizes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and convenient unlocking. The phone is offered in three color options: Blue, Green, and Black. The blue version features a gradient design, while the green version sports a vegan leather finish, providing users with greater personalization options.

While the processor model for the Redmi 14C has not been officially announced, rumors suggest that it might be powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor, delivering a reasonably smooth usage experience.
