According to reports, the iPhone 16 Pro series will continue to feature titanium bodies and introduce a new copper color option, replacing the previous blue titanium. Additionally, leaked images of new phone cases suggest an opening near the sleep/wake button, potentially confirming previous leaks about Apple's addition of a dedicated camera button. This button will be used for taking pictures and will be able to recognize varying levels of pressure, allowing users to zoom in or out, take pictures, or adjust focus with different levels of force, providing a more intuitive way to control the camera system.

Beyond upgrades in appearance and control, the iPhone 16 series will see internal configuration changes as well. Rumor has it that the entire lineup will be equipped with the A18 chip, 8GB of RAM, support AI functions, and have upgraded to 40W fast charging with improved thermal management. The standard model will have a dual-camera setup arranged vertically, supporting spatial video recording. The iPhone 16 Pro series will have larger dimensions, narrower bezels, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a standard 5X telephoto lens. Battery capacity will also see an increase, with the standard, Pro, and Pro Max models reaching 3561mAh, 3355mAh, and 4676mAh respectively, but the iPhone 16 Plus will see a decrease from the previous generation's 4383mAh to 4006mAh.

Surprisingly, the iPhone 16 series may face price increases. Sources reveal Apple has started training retail store employees on AppleIntelligence, which will be a key aspect of marketing the iPhone 16 series in Apple stores. This suggests that the main reason behind the price hike is the addition of "AI."

However, based on current information, the full version of AppleIntelligence may not launch alongside the iPhone 16 series. It is expected to arrive through a subsequent update to iOS 18.1, potentially becoming available for Chinese versions of the iPhone 16 series next year.

Relying solely on AI technology that hasn't yet been fully implemented to justify a price increase may not be convincing to consumers. Many manufacturers have been developing and utilizing AI technology in their phones for quite some time.
