Red Magic's New NX789J Model Appears in IMEI Database, Likely to Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen4 Processor

IT Home, Sept. 1, 2023 - According to Gizmochina, a new Red Magic phone with the model number "NX789J" has appeared in the IMEI database. This, along with the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10S Pro, is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor.

Previously, IT Home reported that the "ZTE family" will subsequently launch Red Magic gaming tablets, Red Magic 10 series, Nubia Z70 Ultra, Nubia Flip2 foldable phone, smaller Snapdragon 8 Gen3 tablets, large-battery Snapdragon 8 Gen4 phones, and new generation high-resolution under-screen cameras.

In addition to the new Red Magic phone, the Nubia Flip2 foldable phone and Z70 Ultra phone have also appeared in the IMEI database. The Red Magic gaming tablet, which will be released this month (September), will come in two versions - Snapdragon 8 Gen3 leading edition/8 Gen2 (model numbers NP03J and NP02J respectively).

• The Red Magic 9 Pro series, launched in November last year, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. It features a 6.8-inch 24801116 resolution AMOLED flexible straight screen, a built-in 6500mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging (Pro+ has a 5500mAh battery and 165W fast charging). In July this year, the Red Magic 9S Pro series was launched, with the processor upgraded to the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 leading edition.
