From the leaked renders, the phone has a thin body when unfolded, with a dual-hinge design, and the back seems to be made of leather. The screen bezels are well controlled, and users are expected to get a near-bezel-less full-screen experience. In addition, OPPO has specially customized the ColorOS interface for this tri-folding phone, with clear separation of widgets, status bar, and taskbar. The overall design layout is similar to a tablet.

It is worth noting that Zhou Yibao, product director of the OPPO Find N series, recently revealed that OPPO started developing tri-folding screen concept machines and models in 2022. He also said that the upcoming tri-folding phone may use an AR film, and the crease is expected to be well controlled.

• It may adopt a rear quad-camera scheme, including two Sony IMX882 periscope lenses and a 50MP main camera;

• It will be equipped with the Dimensity 9400 processor and is expected to be released in October this year.

OPPO Find X8 Ultra

• The body is expected to be made of frosted glass and equipped with a 2K micro-curved straight screen;

• It is expected to be equipped with a 50MP quad-camera combination;

• It will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, positioned as an imaging flagship phone, and is expected to arrive in the first quarter of next year.
