Tech publication 9to5Google recently published a blog post reporting that several Google Pixel 9 Pro XL smartphone users have been experiencing sluggish or unresponsive touch input on the corners of their screens.
The report details that this issue mostly occurs in the bottom left corner of the Pixel 9 Pro XL screen. Users have reported that the phone fails to register clicks in the corner. This is particularly problematic when attempting to close the Gboard keyboard, with users reporting unresponsive behavior when clicking the close button in the bottom left corner.
9to5Google has confirmed the issue on two of their own Pixel 9 Pro XL devices. Additionally, a Redditor complained that the tap would only work occasionally after around 30 tries.
Currently, Google has not issued an official statement regarding this issue or provided a solution.
