With the official arrival of September, the launch date of MediaTek's new flagship 9400 chip is drawing closer. The Dimensity 9400 chip utilizes TSMC's 3nm process technology and a full-core design. Compared to the previous generation Dimensity 9300, the NPU computing power has increased by approximately 40%, the CPU single-core performance has improved by over 30%, and power consumption has been reduced by 25%. It is reported that the average selling price of the Dimensity 9400 chip will be higher than the previous generation, which is expected to bring even more powerful performance and longer battery life.

Currently, there have been leaks regarding the new vivo X200 series models equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chip. It is reported that the vivo X200 series will offer three models: standard, Pro, and a smaller screen version. All three models will adopt 1.5K domestic OLED screens and be the first to utilize the Blueprint image sensor. The main focus will be on glass bodies, equipped with large battery solutions. It is possible that they will adopt the same glass fiber material as the vivo XFold3 to reduce weight and thickness.

The vivo X200 Pro will adopt a new material for an ultra-narrow four-sided border, equipped with a 1.5K 8TLTPO deep-curved screen, supporting single-point ultrasonic fingerprint. It will have a rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP ultra-large sensor with a large aperture main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 200MP ultra-large sensor with a large aperture periscope telephoto macro lens. It will feature a 6000mAh large-capacity silicon battery, support IP68/69 dust and water resistance, and an X-axis motor.

The standard version is expected to adopt a deep-curved screen, and the battery capacity is expected to exceed 6000mAh. It will support 90W fast charging and have a rear triple camera setup, including a Sony-customized ultra-large sensor main camera + 3X medium-sensor telephoto camera + ultra-wide-angle lens. The smaller screen version is expected to adopt a 6.3x-inch small straight screen design, equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, and support wireless fast charging technology.

Thanks to the self-developed Blueprint image sensor and the self-developed image chip, the new vivo X200 series models will see improvements in shooting performance in night scenes, portraits, telephoto, and video scenarios. Currently, the three certifications for the new vivo X200 series models have been obtained, and it is expected to debut as early as October.

In addition to improvements in performance and imaging, the vivo X200 series will also bring new interactive experiences. It is reported that vivo's latest OriginOS5 system will introduce features such as depth-of-field wallpapers, customizable lock screen widgets, new lock screen wallpapers with a single-shot effect, a centrally placed "Dynamic Island", etc., and will support deep interaction with AI large models.

Furthermore, vivo's sub-brand iQOO13 has also officially entered the network, and it is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor. It will adopt a 2K resolution straight screen with well-controlled narrow borders on all sides, and the screen mold will be changed for the entire series. It will have a 3-camera module with 50MP lenses in the upper-left corner of the rear, expected to be a main camera + ultra-wide-angle + telephoto combination. It might continue the "Wanli Hanging Window" rear DECO area design. The battery capacity will be around 6000mAh, and it will not support wireless charging.
