On the afternoon of September 5th, at the InclusionBund Summit Web3 sub-forum, Yan Ying, Chief Scientist of Ant Group, made the judgment that as Web3 technology gradually matures and becomes more widely adopted, assets, data, and physical objects in the physical world will be tokenized and seamlessly integrated with the digital world. Tokenization will make transactions more efficient, accelerate asset circulation, and unleash economic growth. She stated that since 2018, Web3 has successively gone through an infrastructure construction stage measured by "on-chain transaction volume" and a data value stage characterized by "on-chain data usage". Today, Web3 has entered a new "asset integration stage", and on-chain asset issuance is moving towards scale.

Tokenization has a typical application in RWA (Real-world Asset Tokenization), a form of asset ownership that is traded on the blockchain in a digital form (Token). Compared to the difficulty of real-world asset confirmation and transaction, this technology can divide real-world assets into multiple "on-chain" digital assets, bringing more liquidity to real-world assets through the interoperability of the global blockchain network.

Recently, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced a major development in the first phase of its Ensemble project sandbox, with four tokenization-themed cases attracting widespread market attention. Taking the example of new energy charging pile assets, Langxin Technology, using part of the charging piles operated on its platform as RWA anchor assets, successfully obtained the first RWA cross-border financing in Hong Kong, with a funding amount of approximately 100 million yuan.

Yan Ying believes that verifying asset authenticity and controlling the risk of asset circulation are two major challenges facing asset tokenization, which should be addressed through technology. "Extreme performance and security and trustworthiness are the eternal pursuits of web3 technology," Yan Ying pointed out. Facing large-scale on-chain asset issuance, technology needs to strengthen the foundation for "large-scale issuance" on one hand, and address the authenticity challenge of "security and trustworthiness" of assets on the other.
