The issue arose when some users experienced variations in screen display quality while using iQOO Z9/Turbo series phones. Previously reported by IT Home, the iQOO Z9/Turbo series was launched in April this year, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3/8s Gen3 processors, starting at 1499 yuan/1999 yuan. Both devices are equipped with a 6.78-inch flexible OLED straight screen, using Huaxing C8 luminescent material, 28001200 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 4500nit.

Addressing the "mixed screen" issue, iQOO officially responded that due to variations in screen production processes and materials, minor discrepancies might exist between different batches. However, they assured that all iQOO Z9/Turbo series phones use Huaxing C8 screens. Additionally, iQOO emphasized their commitment to continuous optimization of screen display quality to enhance user experience.

While some users expressed understanding and acknowledged that screen quality variations are within a normal range, others doubted the official statement, arguing that the "mixed screen" issue isn't simply a quality concern but could involve misleading consumers.

Currently, iQOO has yet to provide further explanation. Nonetheless, the "mixed screen" issue has garnered significant user attention, reflecting the growing importance of smartphone screen quality for consumers. It's anticipated that iQOO will offer a more detailed explanation and take steps to address user concerns, thereby safeguarding its brand image.
