Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Terminal, recently recommended the Honor Global Travel app on social media, stating that it provides convenient network services for outbound users, eliminating the need to change overseas SIM cards and allowing users to enjoy high-quality networks from local operators in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Honor Global Travel is an app that provides outbound network traffic services. Users can connect to local operator networks with a single tap while abroad, eliminating the need to purchase local SIM cards, saving outbound travelers communication costs. Additionally, Honor Global Travel supports personal hotspot sharing, allowing users to connect their phones to the network and provide network services to other devices.

Besides convenient network services, Zhao Ming also announced that Honor will release a series of new products at the upcoming IFA 2024, including the MagicV3 foldable phone, MagicBookArt14 laptop, MagicPad2 tablet, and a range of AI technologies.

Among them, the highly anticipated MagicV3 foldable phone will launch a dual-satellite version, model number FCP-AN20, which has passed network access certification. Certification information indicates that this model supports the Tiantong satellite communication system and Beidou-3 short message services.

It is understood that the Honor MagicV3 dual-satellite version not only supports two-way calls via Tiantong satellite but also adds two-way free text editing based on the new generation of Beidou satellite communication capabilities. Previously, the standard version of Honor MagicV3 supported Tiantong satellite communication, enabling two-way voice calls and two-way text messaging. Through end-side AI and C1+ radio frequency enhancement chip, the standard version of MagicV3 achieved a 41% performance improvement while reducing antenna size by 34%.

In terms of other configurations, the Honor MagicV3 dual-satellite version is expected to remain largely unchanged from the standard version. Referencing the information of the standard version of Honor MagicV3, it has a thickness of 4.35mm when unfolded and weighs 226 grams. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, has a built-in 5150mAh battery, supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It features the Honor Hawkeye camera system, supports 100X periscope telephoto, and starts at a price of 8999 yuan.

Regarding the pricing of the Honor MagicV3 dual-satellite version, there are speculations that it will be slightly higher than the standard version. However, the actual price will need further confirmation from the official.

Another upcoming new phone, the Honor Magic7, has leaked information suggesting that it will continue the design language of combining circles and polygons. The rear DECO will include four circular openings, with one expected to integrate a flash and other sensors. The cameras will be arranged symmetrically in a square shape.

It is reported that the Honor Magic7 may be equipped with a customized high-specification 1.5K display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency eye protection PWM dimming technology. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor and have a built-in large-capacity silicon battery. The current engineering model features a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main camera + 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens + 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens combination.

In terms of intelligence, Honor officially announced the launch of Honor Phone AI Search, which is integrated into the MagicOS system of Honor phones. Users can access this feature by swiping down on the desktop. Honor AI Search supports fuzzy search for accurate results, one-click generation of outlines/references/mind maps, etc.
