At the early hours of September 10th, Beijing time, the highly anticipated Apple Fall Event of 2024 officially kicked off. As previously rumored, the flagship iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch S10, new colorways of Apple Watch Ultra 2, AirPods 4 with noise cancellation, and new colorways of AirPods Max were all unveiled. The Annual Blockbuster iPhone 16 Series: Camera Physical Shortcut Key and AI Features Shine

The iPhone 16 series still comprises four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In terms of design, the iPhone 16 series continues Apple's minimalist aesthetic, but the new look also boasts a series of notable updates, including new colorways, adjustments to the camera layout on standard models, and the newly introduced Camera Control shortcut key.

As a key feature launched by Apple this year, all iPhone 16 models support Apple Intelligence. This feature is expected to be available on mainland China versions next year. The pricing for all configurations of the mainland China iPhone 16 series remains consistent with the previous generation.

iPhone 16 Standard Edition:

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus retain the same sizes as their predecessors, staying at 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. The new iPhone 16 standard edition features a unique gradient glass back design, offering five color options. In addition to the classic black and white, new additions include azure blue, deep blue, and pink.

The camera system on the iPhone 16 standard edition has been upgraded to a vertical dual-camera setup similar to the iPhone X, supporting spatial video recording at a maximum resolution of 48 megapixels (the ultrawide camera is 12 megapixels). It is also equipped with a 2x telephoto lens and supports macro, 0.5x, 1x, and 2x zoom.

The newly added camera button has become another highlight of this new product. Pressing the newly added shortcut key on the side quickly activates the camera, while long-pressing initiates recording. iPhone 16 Pro Series:

The iPhone 16 Pro series boasts a brand-new screen size upgrade. The iPhone 16 Pro has been increased from the previous 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has grown from 6.7 inches to a massive 6.9 inches, making it the largest screen iPhone ever.

In terms of core configuration, the iPhone 16 Pro series is powered by the A18 Pro chip, excelling in generative AI. As the imaging system that has always been a point of pride for the Pro series, the iPhone 16 Pro features a new 48-megapixel fusion camera with a second-generation single-pixel sensor, which can read data twice as fast, achieving zero-lag shutter speeds for 48-megapixel programs and photos. The telephoto camera on the Pro version also supports 5x telephoto functionality, while the ultrawide camera incorporates a higher-resolution (48-megapixel) sensor compared to the standard edition.

In terms of color options, the iPhone 16 Pro series offers four colorways: black titanium, white titanium, natural titanium, and the new desert titanium.

The Tenth Generation Apple Watch Makes its Debut: Larger, Lighter, and Faster Charging

Compared to older versions, the Apple Watch Series 10 boasts a significant screen upgrade. The screen utilizes a wide-view OLED display, offering two size options: 42mm and 46mm. Brightness performance at oblique angles has been enhanced by up to 40%, and the larger display size provides users with a wider visual experience, even exceeding the display area of the current Apple Watch Ultra 2.

This generation is also the thinnest Apple Watch to date, measuring just 9.7mm thick, a reduction of nearly 10% compared to the previous generation.

Health monitoring has always been a core selling point of the Apple Watch series, and the Apple Watch S10 introduces sleep apnea detection for the first time. By monitoring users' physiological indicators like blood oxygen saturation during sleep, the device can determine in real-time whether there are any signs of sleep apnea and alert users to potential health risks.

In terms of appearance and materials, the Apple Watch S10 comes in brilliant black, silver, and rose gold color options. It adopts a polished aluminum metal exterior for the first time, using nano-silicon dioxide particles for polishing. Previously rumored that Apple Watch Ultra series products would not see new configurations at this event, the company opted to provide new color options for the Ultra 2, including a black titanium version, and also launched a titanium Milanese band.

The mainland China price for the black titanium version of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is 6499, while the price for the titanium Milanese band is 7499.

AirPods 4 Sound Quality Upgraded and Noise Cancellation Version Unveiled

AirPods 4 incorporate the same H2 chip as AirPods Pro 2 and introduce active noise cancellation (optional) for the first time on a non-Pro version. The addition of this feature will significantly enhance user experience in noisy environments.

The earbud stem design of AirPods 4 is more compact, not only improving comfort but also potentially enhancing sound quality transmission and noise isolation. Moreover, it can better adapt to different user ear shapes, improving stability and comfort during wear.
