vivo today released its 2023 Sustainability Report, covering aspects such as patent technology, environmental protection, and social responsibility. As of the end of 2023, vivo has filed over 50,700 patents globally and has been granted over 17,500 patents, demonstrating its strong technological innovation capabilities.
The report also highlights vivo's commitment to green environmental practices. vivo's raw material transport box recycling rate is approximately 84%, saving about 430 tons of material annually. The use of recycled glass accounts for 30% of total glass material usage. These measures help reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution. vivo has also set clear carbon reduction goals: striving to reduce its own operational carbon emissions by 50% compared to 2021 by 2035 and achieve carbon neutrality in its own operations by 2050.
Beyond its continued efforts in environmental protection, vivo actively fulfills its social responsibilities. The "Sound of Hope Charity Program" has donated barrier-free smart devices to 500 hearing-impaired students and young people, helping them better integrate into society.
