Recently, a Samsung phone with the model number SM-S9380 has been certified by the China Quality Certification Center platform. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, released last year, had the model number SM-S9280. This suggests the SM-S9380 is likely the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The most notable aspect of this certification is the description of the Galaxy S25 Ultra as a "satellite mobile terminal." This strongly indicates that the phone will include satellite connectivity, similar to the current Apple iPhone 14 series, Google Pixel 9 series, and some Huawei devices, enabling emergency communication in areas with limited network coverage.

If the Galaxy S25 Ultra does support satellite connectivity, it would be the first Samsung device to offer this feature.
