From September 12th to 16th, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held at the Shougang Park in Beijing. As a designated operating institution for digital RMB, Industrial Bank, under the theme of "Industrial Digital Currency Wallet to Promote Service Trade", showcased its fruitful achievements in facilitating cross-strait integration development, serving small and medium-sized banks, and supporting low-carbon environmental protection during the two years since the launch of its digital RMB wallet at the CIFTIS.

Facilitating Cross-Strait Integration Development and Creating Unique Services

Industrial Bank is the first in the industry to launch a real-name wallet for compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, providing services such as Taiwan dollar exchange, salary payment, property fee payment, merchant acceptance, and bond financing for Taiwanese compatriots and businesses, comprehensively meeting their financial needs in mainland China. This year, the bank further opened up digital RMB services to Fubon Bank (China), the largest Taiwan-funded bank in mainland China with the largest number of branches, becoming the first operating institution nationwide to support Taiwan compatriots upgrading their digital RMB wallets through cooperative bank channels. This move deepens financial cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and promotes cross-strait integration development.

Serving Small and Medium-Sized Banks and Facilitating Digital Transformation

Industrial Bank leverages its strengths in interbank cooperation, proactively providing comprehensive digital RMB application system solutions for a wide range of small and medium-sized banks. Combining technological output with personalized customization, the bank helps cooperative banks unlock the full potential of digital RMB application scenarios. Currently, the bank has signed cooperation agreements with 125 banks and has launched interfacing systems with 61 banks, providing strong support for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized banks.

Supporting Low-Carbon Environmental Protection and Building a Green Consumption Ecosystem

Industrial Bank continuously brightens its "green bank" image by deeply integrating digital RMB with green finance and actively promoting green consumption. To date, the bank has issued nearly 10 billion yuan in digital RMB green finance loans and provides carbon credit rewards for actions such as opening or transferring money and consumption via the Industrial Digital Currency Wallet, encouraging users to actively participate in green consumption behavior and contributing to the construction of a green consumption system and a new digital RMB ecosystem.

Innovative Interactive Experiences Attract Audience Attention

At the CIFTIS venue, Industrial Bank set up various interactive experience sections, including the "Tongxing Circle" check-in, carbon credit connection, and blind box discount purchase, allowing visitors to experience the convenience and security of digital RMB through fun interactions. The bank also showcased the "Industrial Fortune Card," "Dragon Soaring Dream Realization," and "Gazing at the Stars" series of hard wallets for cross-strait integration development financial services, as well as the Industrial Digital Currency Little Superman series of peripherals, attracting numerous visitors to stop and observe and experience.
