On September 20th, the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series officially went on sale. Cai Lian She reporters observed at the Apple flagship store in Shenzhen's Yi Tian Holiday Plaza that around 10am, the store was packed with people, and a long queue formed for in-store pickup.
Store employees revealed to reporters that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are currently available in the store, while the Pro and Pro Max models require pre-orders with an estimated delivery time of October.
However, in the secondary market, the enthusiasm of scalpers seemed to have cooled. Reporters observed that around 11am, several scalpers indicated they had stopped accepting various models including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16 Pro, only accepting the Pro Max Gold 256GB version at a markup of 400 yuan.
The Pro is already below its original price, this year's market is not as good as last year, lamented one scalper.
