The OPPO Find X8 series is set to launch on October 21st, generating significant buzz. This new lineup will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and offer a satellite communication edition. Previously, the OPPO Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Edition (model PKC130) and the OPPO Find X8 (model PKB110) appeared on Geekbench, showcasing their robust performance.
The OPPO Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Edition, powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor, achieved a single-core score of 3010 on Geekbench, nearing the IPC performance of Apple's A18/Pro. Although the multi-core performance fell short of expectations, considering the engineering model utilized a 3.58GHz frequency, the production model with a frequency above 4GHz is likely to exhibit further performance enhancements.
The OPPO Find X8, on the other hand, is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. This chip, crafted using TSMC's N3E technology, employs Oryon self-developed cores, replacing the previous ArmCPU cores, and integrates the Adreno 830 GPU. It is priced at approximately $240.
Beyond its impressive performance, the OPPO Find X8 series will introduce a satellite communication edition, expanding the phone's application scenarios. Reports suggest that the OPPO Find X8 series will debut as early as October 21st, alongside the launch of products like the OPPO Pad 3 Pro, OPPO Enco X3, the new color variant of the OPPO Watch X, and magnetic ecosystem accessories.
Apart from the OPPO Find X8 series, other brands are poised to unveil new devices in a concentrated release schedule from October to November. These include the vivo X200 series, Xiaomi 15 series, OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, Realme GT7 Pro, Redmi K80 series, and more. The Honor Magic 7 series and new Huawei devices are anticipated for a November launch.
