Zhou Yi'bao, product manager of the OPPO Find series, recently revealed on Weibo that OPPO has invested over three years and over 100 million yuan in research and development for its bezel technology. He emphasized that this technology is not simply a supply chain issue, but involves extensive fundamental material research, such as adhesives. Zhou Yi'bao pointed out that seemingly simple adhesives actually have incredibly high technical content; some even cost more than gold. In addition to R&D investments, production requires significant capital expenditure. A single production line for bezel control technology alone costs at least 30 million yuan, and the Find X8 series features hundreds of similar processes.

In the comment section, Zhou Yi'bao further disclosed that the Find X8 series has achieved "significant progress" in thinness, with the Find X8 Ultra boasting an "amazing" narrow bezel. To address user inquiries, he clarified that if it were simply a supply chain technology, all models on the market should be able to achieve it, while the unique design of the Find X8 is the outcome of OPPOs continuous research and development efforts.

According to IT Home, the OPPO Find X8 series is expected to be released as early as October 21st, with other releases including the OPPO Pad 3 Pro, OPPO Enco X3, a new color for the OPPO Watch X, and magnetic ecosystem accessories.
