Huawei recently announced an Autumn Full-Scene Product Launch Event to be held on September 24th. The event is expected to unveil a range of new products across various domains, including smart wearables, smart screens, whole-house intelligence, and HarmonyOS for vehicles, offering users a more intelligent and convenient full-scene experience. There are even rumors of a new brand ambassador for Huawei making an appearance. The highly anticipated nova13 series phones and the official release of the HarmonyOS NEXT system, however, might not be showcased.

According to blogger @DigitalChatStation, Huawei's tentative product launch schedule is "nova13 series in October, Mate70 series in November, and the MateX6 dual-folding phone also around November." This means Huawei has several new devices in the pipeline. The blogger also revealed some aspects of the design for a flagship engineering phone, potentially the standard and Pro versions of the Huawei Mate70 series. Features include a centered 3D face-recognition enabled deep-curved screen, a metal right-angle middle frame with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, a centered oval-shaped camera array on the back, and a single periscope lens.

Another blogger, @WisdomPikachu, revealed that "the final preparations for the HarmonyOS NEXT system update are underway, news will be coming soon. The new Mate devices at the end of the year will also feature the debut of the next-generation Kirin processor, which is currently being fine-tuned. Stay tuned!" This indicates that the Huawei Mate70 series will be the first to feature a new Kirin chip, and news regarding the official release of HarmonyOS NEXT is imminent.

Beyond flagship phones, Huawei is actively developing the HarmonyOS PC ecosystem. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, recently stated on CCTV News that the current Huawei PCs are likely the last to feature Windows, and future laptops will run HarmonyOS.

The Huawei HarmonyOS Developer website's design guide now includes a "HarmonyOS PC Edition" page layout, with application adaptations encompassing areas like multimedia, social media, photography, reading, shopping, finance, lifestyle, and transportation. While details about the full page design haven't been released, the design specifications reveal that the PC version will have a status bar in the top right corner of the screen displaying information such as input method, volume, battery life, and time. The application dock bar at the bottom will include persistent functions and applications. The icons will be spaced apart, not clustered together.

Furthermore, the HarmonyOS two-in-one device application design guide displays examples of UI interfaces for productivity and immersive applications, offering multiple interface scenarios, including weather apps and file managers. Overall, the HarmonyOS PC edition reflects a simpler and more convenient layout than Windows, effectively using space and visual presentation through interface adjustments. It's expected to provide better interconnection with phones and tablets, further bolstering the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Huawei has already established partnerships with leading domestic software companies, enabling major office software to run on Huawei HarmonyOS PCs. Moving forward, HarmonyOS PC is expected to exhibit promising capabilities in terms of system ecosystem and multi-device coordination.
