Motorola's ThinkPhone, launched last year, gained attention for its enterprise-focused approach and design elements borrowed from ThinkPads. Now, according to Androidheadlines, the Motorola ThinkPhone 2025 is on its way, bringing adjustments to both design and specifications.
Compared to the original ThinkPhone, the ThinkPhone 2025 boasts a smaller footprint and a slightly reduced battery capacity. The new model features a 6.36-inch pOLED LTPO display, boasting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 2670x1200 resolution, and a 460ppi pixel density. Its dimensions are 154.1x71.2x8.1mm, and it weighs just 171g.
Internally, the ThinkPhone 2025 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of storage, with only one memory/storage combination available. The device also supports 68W charging and comes bundled with a 68W TurboPower charger.
In the camera department, the ThinkPhone 2025 retains its 50MP main camera and its 13MP ultrawide lens. However, the 2MP depth sensor found on the original has been replaced with a 10MP 3x optical zoom lens.
Staying true to its ThinkPhone lineage, the ThinkPhone 2025 boasts impressive durability. It's protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, is IP68 waterproof and dustproof, and carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
