At Huawei's recent Fall Full-Scenario Launch Event, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, Chairman of the Terminal BG, and Chairman of the Smart Car Solutions BU, announced that HarmonyOS NEXT will begin public beta testing on October 8th. Meanwhile, according to First Financial Daily, Huawei's next-generation flagship phone, the Mate70, has begun receiving components from various suppliers.

Our production lines started mass production before the Mid-Autumn Festival. Internal information suggests the phone will be released in November, but there might be updates as early as the end of October if things go well," revealed a source from a mobile phone component supplier.

Previously, Xu Zhijun, Rotating Chairman of Huawei, stated during a press conference on April 18th that the company's goal is to launch the Mate70 series with "Pure-Blood HarmonyOS" this year. This sparked speculation about the Mate70's operating system.

According to IT Home, while excitement surrounds the release, Huawei's internal atmosphere is more "calm." Huawei insiders revealed that the final stages of HarmonyOS integration with top domestic applications are still underway, alongside hardware adaptation for devices like phones and PCs. "Many people have forgotten about vacations, with meetings running late into the night," shared a Huawei insider. "The ideal scenario is for the Mate70 to be the first to feature the Pure-Blood HarmonyOS system. However, the schedule is tight, and we aim for a gradual rollout with positive results."

Huawei previously launched HarmonyOS 4 with the Mate60 series and announced the future release of "Pure-Blood HarmonyOS." This system will be entirely based on HarmonyOS and no longer rely on Android.

Although Huawei has not officially confirmed the Mate70's launch date or operating system, supply chain information and internal sources suggest a release timeframe of late October or November. If all goes according to plan, this phone may be the first Huawei flagship to feature "Pure-Blood HarmonyOS."
