vivo is set to host the 2024 vivo Developer Conference in Shenzhen on October 10th, where the highly anticipated OriginOS 5 and the self-developed Blue River operating system 2 will be unveiled. To allow more users to experience the excitement of the new system beforehand, vivo is officially launching the OriginOS 5 Beta Tester recruitment campaign today.

Each model will recruit 2,000 beta testers, with 300 users by default enabling Log and 1,700 users not enabling Log. The final number of spots will be adjusted based on application volume, information completion, and other factors.

• Application Period: September 25th, 2024 11:00 - October 6th, 2024 23:59

• Announcement of Accepted Applicants: Before 22:00 on October 8th, 2024, the list will be published in this post.

• Group Joining Deadline: 20:00 on October 9th, 2024.

• Push Time: 15:00 - 18:00 on October 10th, 2024.

Application Method:

1. Update the phone software to the latest version: Phone Desktop > Settings > System Management and Upgrade > System Upgrade.

2. Find the corresponding application entry through System Upgrade - Beta Application:

• iQOO users: In the iQOO Community quick application end version block page, click "OriginOS-System Upgrade-Beta Application-Go to Application-Beta Application-View Details", then follow the prompts to apply.

• vivo users: On the phone desktop, click "Settings > System Management and Upgrade > System Upgrade > Top Right Two Points > Upgrade Sneak Peek > Beta Application Card, click the "View Details" button to enter the beta application interface and complete the application according to the prompts.

If the above models do not have a system upgrade area, please update the quick application to the latest version first. Upgrade method: Phone desktop - Settings - Applications & Permissions - System Application Settings - Quick Application - Check for Updates.
