vivo today officially announced that the upcoming OriginOS 5 system will bring a series of major upgrades. Among them, the most notable is the upgrade of Atomic Notifications to Atomic Island. This new feature will integrate the capabilities of past Atomic Notifications and intent recognition, realizing a perfect combination of information flow and service recommendations. Jia Jingdong, Vice President of vivo and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, said that Atomic Island can intelligently organize and transform various information, allowing key information to be reminded to users in real time. For example, when receiving a meeting invitation at work, users can simply drag it into the island, and the system will automatically generate a schedule.

Beyond information flow, Atomic Island can also intelligently recommend relevant services based on user behavior and preferences. When users receive a link to a good product recommended by friends, they can simply drag the link to Atomic Island to quickly enter the e-commerce page for purchase, achieving a one-stop service experience.

OriginOS 5 also pioneers the "Ledger Memory Accounting Mechanism," achieving system-level memory scheduling. This mechanism can accurately track the memory usage of each application and allocate memory resources more intelligently based on actual conditions, significantly improving system fluency and stability.

Furthermore, OriginOS 5's AI assistant, Blue Heart XiaoV, has significantly improved its recognition capabilities in scenarios such as disordered word order and dialects, and has added a more anthropomorphic tone, allowing it to converse with users like a real person, enhancing the system's interactivity and naturalness.
