The certification information shows that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will support up to 45W wired fast charging technology, consistent with its predecessor. In addition, the device will introduce a notable new feature - satellite communication, making it the first Samsung flagship in China to support this technology. Notably, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will not support satellite communication.

Currently, major brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, and Honor already support satellite communication. The upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra will also join the ranks, while Apple's Chinese models still lack this feature.

Satellite communication refers to the use of man-made Earth satellites as relay stations to forward radio waves, enabling communication between two or more Earth stations. Direct-to-satellite communication refers to the ability of mobile phones to directly send and receive wireless signals to and from satellites (high-orbit or low-orbit) for data transmission and exchange, supporting voice, short messages, and narrowband and broadband data services.

Compared to terrestrial networks, mobile phone direct-to-satellite communication systems are less susceptible to disruptions or failures caused by ground infrastructure. In the face of natural disasters and other emergencies, mobile phone direct-to-satellite communication signals are more stable and offer relatively higher transmission quality.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra's satellite communication feature will provide users with stronger connectivity, especially in remote areas or emergencies. It will become a key feature of Samsung's flagship products, offering users a more comprehensive communication experience.
