OnePlus 13 to Debut "Second-Generation Oriental Screen," Performance "Leaps Ahead"
This evening, Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, announced on Weibo that the world's first "second-generation Oriental screen" has been successfully lit. OnePlus conducted an outdoor lighting test of the screen at BOE's technology exhibition in Beijing today. Li Jie stated that the "second-generation Oriental screen" will soon bring even more outstanding performance, "the effect is unparalleled."
- Earlier this month, a blogger claimed that the OnePlus 13 would be the first to feature BOE's X2 Oriental screen, and is expected to be launched next month (October). Previously, the OnePlus 12 was equipped with the "Oriental screen," featuring the world's first BOE X1 luminescent material, which combined with the DisplayP1 display chip achieved a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The device features a 6.82-inch screen with a resolution of 31681440p, supporting 120Hz refresh rate, 8TLTPO backplane technology, 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, using a diamond arrangement, and a pixel density of 510PPI.
It is understood that the OnePlus 13 has passed the National 3C quality certification, and leaks suggest that the device will adopt a scheme featuring 100W wired and wireless charging with a large silicon battery. Additionally, on September 9th, Li Jie posted that the OnePlus flagship product launching in October will be equipped with the latest generation of flagship chips, designed by a star team that previously developed "epoch-making PC chips." This will be the first time a fully self-developed dual-large-core architecture will be used.
What does the successful lighting of the "second-generation Oriental screen" signify? How will it elevate the display performance of the OnePlus 13? What kind of performance breakthroughs will the new generation of flagship chips bring? We wait with bated breath.
