This news has sparked widespread attention, as Google has already moved the launch date of the Pixel 9 series forward to August this year (typically October), introducing four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
According to the outlet, which cites multiple sources, the Pixel 9a will also launch earlier, and this early release strategy may be permanent, implying that the Pixel 10a could also launch in March 2026.
Previously, IT Home reported that the Google Pixel 9a would be available in four color options: Porcelain white and Obsidian black, along with two new colors - Peony pink and Iris purple. The Pixel 9a will be slightly larger than the Pixel 8a, measuring approximately 154x73 mm, about 2 mm taller and 1 mm wider. Additionally, the Pixel 9a will be thinner than the Pixel 8a, with a thickness of 8.5 mm compared to the Pixel 8a's 8.9 mm.
It's worth noting that the Pixel 9a's near-flush camera design may lead to a reduction in battery capacity.
