IT Home, October 7 - Today, iQOO Product Manager @GolangV shared that the iQOO 13 smartphone will feature the company's self-developed gaming chip, Q2. While details of the Q2 chip remain undisclosed, IT Home reported that iQOO's first self-developed gaming chip, Q1, was unveiled in November of last year and supports features like super-framing and super-resolution processing.

According to reports, the Q1 chip utilizes a new generation of self-developed super-resolution technology, employing parallel rendering algorithms to achieve a 4x increase in sampling efficiency, 30% improvement in execution efficiency, and a significant 10% reduction in power consumption. The iQOO 12 series fully leverages the self-developed super-framing technology, officially claiming to usher in the "144-frame era for over 100 games." Currently, select models in the iQOO 12 series and iQOO Neo9 series are equipped with the self-developed Q1 gaming chip, primarily enhancing gameplay experiences with PC-level super-resolution and supporting over 140 games with super-framing.
