OPPO Find X8 Series Officially Announced: First to Feature Dimensity 9400 Chipset, Launching on October 24th

Today, OPPO officially announced that the Find X8 series launch event will be held on October 24th, and it will be the first to feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset.

Reportedly, the Dimensity 9400 employs TSMC's second-generation 3nm process and a second-generation all-large-core CPU architecture. It comprises one ultra-large Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.62GHz, three Cortex-X4 super-large cores, and four Cortex-A720 large cores. This results in a 35% improvement in single-core performance and a 28% increase in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. Furthermore, the Dimensity 9400 utilizes a PC-level Armv9 architecture with double the cache and is the first to support 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X memory. Compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400 achieves a 40% reduction in power consumption while maintaining the same performance level, ensuring consistent power efficiency for both demanding games and everyday applications.

Beyond the Dimensity 9400, the OPPO Find X8 series also integrates the self-developed Tide Architecture. This architecture dynamically adjusts the SLC (System Level Cache), enabling computing units to utilize cache resources more efficiently, thereby enhancing performance and power efficiency. Specifically, the Tide Architecture intelligently adjusts the size and allocation strategies of the SLC, allowing computing units to dynamically access the most suitable cache resources based on different scenarios and workloads, ultimately achieving optimal performance and power efficiency.
