The Honor X60 series smartphones will officially launch on October 16th at 19:30. The phones are already available for pre-order on the Honor Mall. This launch features two models: the Honor X60 Standard Edition with a straight screen and the Pro Edition with a curved screen. Both models feature a centered punch-hole design, with the Standard Edition having a single punch-hole and the Pro Edition having a "pill" shaped punch-hole.

In terms of battery life, the Honor X60 features a 5800mAh battery, while the Honor X60 Pro is equipped with a 6600mAh Qinghai Lake battery. Notably, this is the first time the Honor X series has featured the Qinghai Lake battery. This self-developed battery technology uses a silicon-carbon negative electrode battery technology, the first of its kind commercially available, which significantly enhances battery capacity and durability. Honor claims that the Qinghai Lake battery technology increases capacity through increased energy density, resulting in a more compact battery size, therefore allowing the battery to increase without increasing the phone's thickness.

Furthermore, the Honor X series is the first to incorporate satellite communication capabilities. With wide coverage, fast connectivity, and low power consumption, this feature is particularly rare in phones within the same price range. It's worth noting that according to the Honor X60 promotional posters, only the 12GB+512GB version of the Honor X60 Pro supports Beidou satellite text messaging. This requires activating the China Mobile Beidou satellite text messaging feature.

Honor previously announced the sales performance of the X50 series, which has exceeded 15 million units, selling one unit every 2.7 seconds, earning it the title of "King of its class." The Honor X50 launched with a starting price of 1399 yuan. If the X60 series adopts a similar pricing strategy, it has the potential to be another sales blockbuster.
