Tech media xiaomitime recently revealed that Xiaomi's Redmi K80 series of smartphones is about to be released, with the Pro model potentially featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 chip. It is said that the Redmi K80 Pro, internally known as Miro, with model numbers 24117RK2CG and 24117RK2CC, is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 (or Snapdragon 8 Elite) chip and offer various storage configuration options.
Citing xiaomitime, IT Home reported that the standard version of the Redmi K80 series, internally known as Zorn, has model numbers 24122RKC7G/24122RKC7C. While the specific chip specifications for this model are not yet known, it is expected to be powered by a sub-flagship chip to remain competitive in the mid-to-high-end market.
Besides the K80 Pro and the standard version, Xiaomi also plans to launch a third model codenamed Rodin. This model is expected to have international, Chinese, and Indian versions, with its model numbers yet to be revealed. However, its pricing is expected to be lower than the K80 series.
The release of the Redmi K80 series will further enrich Xiaomi's smartphone product lineup, providing users with more choices.
