On October 10th, vivo officially announced that its X200 series smartphones will be the first in the world to feature a Blueprint x Sony LYT-818 custom sensor. This sensor utilizes advanced 22nm fabrication technology, resulting in lower power consumption and extended battery life for users. vivo confirmed that the LYT-818 sensor delivers "comparable" performance to a one-inch sensor in terms of clarity and color reproduction, setting a new industry benchmark.
The LYT-818 sensor boasts a large 1/1.28-inch design and high conversion gain, effectively reducing noise in low-light conditions and enhancing picture clarity and purity. Furthermore, it supports a single-frame dynamic range of 86dB, enabling intelligent handling of complex lighting environments, producing more vivid and realistic images.
The vivo X200 series will launch with three models: the standard X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini. Notably, the X200 Pro stands out with its exclusive 200MP large-sensor periscope lens and V3 imaging chip, covering a focal length range of 15mm-85mm, further bolstering the phone's imaging capabilities.
