While the official release date hasn't been announced, the iQOO 13 phone is confirmed to meet us at the end of October. As time goes by, details about this upcoming flagship phone are gradually emerging.
Renowned digital blogger @Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the iQOO 13 will see a new adjustment in its appearance. The blogger said: "I secretly touched the real phone before, the light effect and the classic lens design are well integrated, it's a hardcore tech style, even if you don't use it, you can't tell. The white glass version is the first, the 2K pure straight screen looks narrower, the lens DECO is flat, the daily use and gaming feel is quite good." Meanwhile, the blogger also showed a detail picture of the phone's rear camera module, further confirming the authenticity of the leak.
Meanwhile, iQOO product manager @GoBlueV also revealed some details about the iQOO 13's appearance in the latest preheating. Official information shows that the new back camera module is not equipped with a light strip, but it has "light", which is because it adopts clever luminous technology. This undoubtedly further increases people's expectations for the actual appearance of the iQOO 13.
In addition to the visual upgrade, the iQOO 13 will also be the world's first to feature BOE's latest Q10 luminous material. It is reported that this screen has significant improvements in brightness, color, power consumption and lifespan. The global peak brightness is increased by 12.5%, the color deviation is reduced by more than 50%, the lifespan is increased by 33%, the ghosting is reduced by 15%, and the power consumption is reduced by 10%. This will bring users a better and more comfortable visual experience.
Besides, the iQOO 13's front screen seems to adopt a centered punch-hole design, combined with an ultra-narrow bezel, further enhancing the display effect. Combining previous information, the iQOO 13 will be equipped with a 2K straight screen, with extremely narrow screen borders, and it will no longer be a straight-edged middle frame, but a straight-edged large R-corner middle frame. These upgrades will all bring users a more immersive visual experience.
In terms of performance, the iQOO 13 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon flagship platform, bringing a significant performance upgrade. It features a 6-series silicon battery and supports 120W super flash charging. It will also support 100W PPS fast charging, as well as IP68 protection and USB3.0 wired transmission.
There is more news that the iQOO 13 will use a higher-positioned fingerprint solution, which may be an ultrasonic fingerprint solution. In terms of imaging, the iQOO 13's rear camera will adopt a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera + 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide-angle + 50-megapixel Sony IMX826 telephoto lens, supporting 2x optical zoom.
It's worth mentioning that the iQOO 13 will only be available in one standard model, without a Pro version. Currently, this new phone has passed all certifications and is getting closer and closer to its official release.
In addition to the hardware upgrade, the iQOO 13 will also be one of the first to be equipped with vivo's new OriginOS 5. It is reported that OriginOS 5 has been officially released, bringing AI-restructured system experience, Blue Heart XiaoV comprehensive upgrade, and a smoother, more natural and comfortable design concept.
Overall, the iQOO 13 is about to make its official debut at the end of this month. What kind of surprises will this flagship phone that combines performance, appearance and system bring? Let's wait and see!
