Computer Connection Speed Test

We connected the Lexar Professional Go Mobile SSD to the USB 3.2 Gen 2x 220 Gbps interface on the back of a MSI Z790 motherboard for speed testing.

Using AS SSD Benchmark, the 1 GB read and write speeds were 956 MB/s and 824 MB/s, respectively. The 4K random read and write speeds were 20 MB/s and 72 MB/s. The 10 GB read and write speeds were 959 MB/s and 663 MB/s, respectively, while the 4K random read and write speeds were 20 MB/s and 56 MB/s.

Using CrystalDiskMark, the 1 GB sequential read speed was 1059 MB/s and 810 MB/s, respectively. The 4K read and write speeds were 21 MB/s and 59 MB/s. The 64 GB read and write test results were slightly lower than the 1 GB test, particularly the sustained write speed, which dropped from 810 MB/s to 570 MB/s.

Using ATTO Disk Benchmarks, the read and write speeds remained above 500 MB/s from 32 KB onwards, reaching 800 MB/s for files larger than 128 KB.

Overall, the Lexar Professional Go Mobile SSD's performance was exceptional, especially its optimization for iPhone phones and Apple's ProRes video format.
